LMS 3.2 topology view issue

Hi,

We have a problem with our LMS 3.2 campus manager - Network View - VTP Views. We used to customize the device connectivity layout but everything collapsed to default appearance. We used to SAVE the layout each time but this happened twice.

Please suggest what could be the problem.

There is a known bug where using a topology map background image causes the map layouts not to be saved properly.  The workaround is not to use a background image.  Additionally, the XML files under NMSROOT/campus/etc/users/USERNAME may become corrupted (from a partial save).  Restoring them from a good backup will restore proper map layout.  Finally, if the ANI database is reinitialized, the map layouts will change as the device IDs change.

I've also provided you workarounds based on common known issues.  If the problem is the database was reinitialized, there is no workaround.  The maps must be rebuilt manually.
