Hello.
Using Topology I can show device view from all my managed VTP domains. I don't understand why all links are "not in network"!?
Thanks.
Regards.

As per the user guide it says :
"Not in network state:
This may happen due to a variety of reasons.
For example, let us assume port A is connected to port B. If a you remove the connection between port A and port B, and connect port A to port C while port B remains not connected to any other port then:
•If port C was previously never connected to another device, a black line will appear between A and C and a dotted line between A and B. The A—B connection is displayed as not-in-network state.
•If B or C was previoulsy connected to another port, it does not represent a not-in-network situation, and hence no dotted lines is displayed."

I think this can also occur if the server or the daemon manager was restarted and no data collection was done since.
After the data collection finishes the links should be normal.
Also if a data collection on a few selected devices the other links sometimes go into this state. Not sure why it does that but it goes away by itself normally
Cheers,
Michel

Thanks but we never change connections between devices. Anyway I do not understand why all links for all domains are not in network!
