LMS 4.0 eval on win2k8 sp1 32-bit daemon manager wont start

Hi Folks,

I have just finished installing LMS 4.0 eval on windows 2008 standard sp1 with 8 GB RAM, refer to attached capture "lms4.0 sever.jpg".

I have increased the swap space on windows to 4095 on C & D (total 8190) but still daemon manager wont start manually.

I see that 32-bit windows cannot allocate swap space of more than 4096 on single drive also it should be less than 4096. (in my case i set it to 4095)

what i see in syslog.log is below

Aug 03 14:36:08 127.0.0.1 dmgtd: WARNING: System Memory (RAM) is less than Required Memory, which may affect performance

Aug 03 14:36:08 127.0.0.1 dmgtd: Required RAM space is 4096M and System RAM space is 3325M

Aug 03 14:36:08 127.0.0.1 dmgtd: ERROR : System SWAP memory is less than the minimum required SWAP of 8192MB.

Aug 03 14:36:08 127.0.0.1 dmgtd: ERROR : Increase SWAP memory and start Daemon Manager.

Please suggest a solution or workaround for same at earliest.

Just to keep you all posted on how i found the resolution to above problem was that I broke an existing partition and created two new ones,i.e (C,D,E) two of which configured with a page file of size 4095 MB, and E partition with page file size of 256 MB, thus total page filie = 4095x2+256=8446 which is exceeding requirement of 8192MB, only then i was able to restart daemon manager service and its working fine now.
