I figured it out - needed to create a custom report (Reports, Report Designer, Syslog and Inventory, Custom Report Template). Create a new template from there, name and save it.
Once you've done that, the new report will appear on the Reports page. You need to just click on "Reports" in the menu bar. The drop down menus from the mouse-over will not show it - but if you click on "Reports" the resultant page will show the new report under the "Inventory" tree.
