LMS 4.1 Alerting - SMS/E-Mail

Hi Guys

We're looking to use LMS 4.1 to manage a customers LAN, they would like SMS and E-Mail Alerting for major errors etc, does anyone know if this is possible?

Sure, it's relatively easily done. Please refer to the instructions for setting up an smtp server here. LMS will now know how to send mail.

You then need to set up a subscription groups etc. for faults as defined here.

SMS messages can usually be sent via an e-mail address such as "telephone_number@wirelesscarrier.com"
