LMS 4 Eval with Server 2008 R2

Hi

I am trying to install LMS4 to evaluate on Server 2008 R2. I am told I need to download the patch at this link:

http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=283434800&flowid=19062&os=Windows&softwareid=280775103&release=4.0&rellifecycle=&relind=AVAILABLE&reltype=latest

Although this is locked to and a valid contract is needed.

So the question is how do I install and evaluate????

Hi,

You can first install the evaluation version of LMS 4.0 from the location:-

www.cisco.com\go\lms , look under featured contents for the Evaluation version . Download it and install it. This will be valid for 90 days and then you can install license for this evaluation version to convert it in license version. This evaluation version is complete setup of LMS 4.0

The Windows 2008 R2 patch is now generally available for all guest users with a Cisco.com account.  You can download the patch, and then use it to install the LMS 4.0 eval.  The patch can be downloaded from:
