LMS 4.x -- HowTo create RME InventoryCollection Job via CLI

Hi all,

trying to perform a RME InventoryCollection job with cwcli inventory I wasn't able

to perform this task.

Anybody out there having done such a thing via CLI?

Thanks for any feedback

LMS 4.x -- HowTo create RME InventoryCollection Job via CLI

Hi Lothar.

I'm doubtful that you can use cwcli, however I think that maybe it can be done using jobcli, something along the lines of:

C:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\bin\cwjava -cw C:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx com.cisco.nm.cmf.jrm.jobcli

However, I have no idea what sub-commands might be used to specifically create an inventory collection job (I've never seen it done before), and I would be very wary of proceeding further without knowing what you might be getting into!  :-)

Maybe someone else will chime-in here that knows how it could be done.

Good luck!

LMS 4.x -- HowTo create RME InventoryCollection Job via CLI

Hi Joe,

searching thru the internet (and cisco.com) I discovered the following Guide:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_common_services_software/3.0.5/sdk/developer/guide/jrm.html#wp1018575

here creating a job via jobcli will be explained.

Unfortunately the command for creating a job isn't as detailed as needed

create

create cmd=command [,descr=description] [,owner=user] [,type=string] [, schedule]

Do you have any docs regarding the type option regarding InventoryCollection to create a InvCollection Job via CLI?

Thanks for any update

Lothar
