Hi,
Customer has an error message when he makes a LMS backup:
extract from dbbackup.log :
1 error reported
Run time SQL error -- Index "Template18_5mins_TSINDEX" has invalid or duplicate index entries
Validation C:/Backup_LMS\436\upm\database\upm.db failed.
Validation C:/Backup_LMS\436\upm\database\upm.db failed.
ERROR(1083): Database upm backup failed and . Check the log file for information.
Backup failed: 2009/09/02 03:50:11

The UPM database is corrupt. You will need to restore it from a known good backup, or reinitialize it with the command:
NMSROOT/bin/perl NMSROOT/bin/dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=upm dmprefix=UPM

Is it possible to restore only upm database without restoring other database like rme, campus, ut, ... ?

No. The LMS backup/restore is all or nothing.

When we reinit upm.db, do we lost configuration as poller, templates and reports ? Or only data ?

You lose everything in HUM. This includes pollers, custom templates, polled data, thresholds, etc.

If we open a tac case, do you think they will be able to correct this corruption database ?

No. Database corruption caanot be corrected. You can only restore from backup, or reinitialize.

Thanks, a lot. I reinitialize the database with the command NMSROOT/bin/perl NMSROOT/bin/dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=upm dmprefix=UPM and recreate my poller and report, and launch a backup.
All is right now.
