M9500 not showing up in Inventory Collection

Hello,

When performing an inventory collection some of our M9500s are failing to be shown. The error message we get is:

RICS0001:Internal Error

WE ARE AT Version RME4.0.4 and all our M9500s have the same level of IOS which is: Version 2.1(2b)

We tried removing the devices and adding them in again, all but 1 fail to be shown.

Any ideas?

If the credentail verification report shows you have snmp access to the devices then you may wish to increase SNMP timeout values in RME -> Admin -> System Preferences -> RME Device Attributes.

Here's what has worked for me in the past, try this:

Delete the device from Campus Manager & RME if it exists. Re-write the SNMP community strings.

I've re-written the snmp community strings exactly as displayed on the screen and it worked. Strange but true!

I export the credentials from the DCR, edit them and put them back in.

Sometimes delete devices after I'be done the export.
