Monitor Time of Cisco Switch via Solarwinds

Hi there,

I want to use solarwind to monitor the time accuracy of cisco switches(3850). Now I have NTPv4 enable to a testing switch as NTP client. I setup a domain controller as NTP server. It's properly synced by showing ntp status. Then I tried to use solarwinds universal poller to poll data by using Cisco NTP MIB, but it doesn't support. It doesn't support NTP version 4? Does anyone know what I did wrong or is there any other way to monitor the time of switch? Thank you.

I just checked the cisco ios mib locator (https://mibs.cloudapps.cisco.com/ITDIT/MIBS/servlet/index). I don't think the model of the switch support v4, only v1&2. So does anyone know how to monitor the time accuracy of 3850 switches? Thank you.

Hi, Are you trying to measure/monitor drift? Thanks John
