Hi there,
Cisco Prime 3.4 is working up and running and working well will with Cisco devices (wired and wireless).
But having an issue when trying to monitor HPE J8698A with HPE mib files. From HPE website, I can download the MIB files, but not being able to import them to Cisco Prime. Checked the MIB file dependencies already, this is one of the first ones that have to be imported.
Importing via:
Monitor > Monitoring Policies
Add > Custom MIB Pooling
When trying to upload the MIBs, i get the following message:
Error: Failed to load MIB hpicfOid.mib. Please refer /opt/CSCOlumos/logs/miblibrary.log for more details.
However, content of the log does not seem to help much:
"[2019-09-04 11:38:04,681] [https-jsse-nio-443-exec-3] [MibLibraryMibbleImpl] [INFO ] - Added {} to MIB search path
[2019-09-04 11:54:50,194] [https-jsse-nio-443-exec-2] [MibLibraryMibbleImpl] [INFO ] - Added {} to MIB search path
[2019-09-04 14:16:37,049] [https-jsse-nio-443-exec-3] [MibLibraryMibbleImpl] [INFO ] - Added {} to MIB search path"
Any help would be much appreciated!
Many thanks.

What was the issue with importing the mib file?
Because it's not the "Cisco" way.
More so when Cisco is "herding" everyone to beta-test DNAC. There is no way DNAC will be able to monitor anything that isn't Cisco.
There are a lot of alternatives to PI or DNAC. Have a look at AKiPS.
