I'm trying to setup access to a remote host from my network using an internal address.
Host 1 - 172.31.19.11

Basically I want to be able to ping **10.52.120.73 and reach 172.31.19.11
Currently I can ping 172.31.19.11 from the 10.52.120.0 network, but I have a project I'm working on that will require I be able to connect to that remote host on a local ip address. (inter-connecting hosts on separate MPLS networks)
I tried using an outside nat on the serial interface of Router 2: ip nat outside source static 172.31.19.11 10.52.120.73
I can ping 10.52.120.73 from 10.52.120.96 but when I try to telnet to this address it fails. It also fails when I try to telnet to or ping 172.31.19.11 so I'm guessing that the outside nat is also changing the address of the 172.31.19.11 coming into my network.

I've configured nat quite a bit for an outside address pointing to an internal device but this is the first time I've tried to point an internal address to an address on a separate network. Any help would be appreciated.
