Netflow - traffic in and traffic out of an interface

Hi,

I've recently configured netflow on an interface and have a trial version of ManageEngine's netflow analyser tool to examine the information.

This seems to be working fine for traffic IN to the interface but I get "no data available" for traffic OUT of the interface.

Is there something else I have to configure on the router in order to see the traffic out of the interface too?

NetFlow is unidirectional (input only). To see bidirectional flow, you need to have the remote router(s) export NetFlow too.

Hi,

Just my 2 cents: you can try monitoring the missing flows by way of the Input interface where this traffic is reaching your router (your output traffic obviuosly gets through by entering the router first at some point)

HTH.

Regards.

Hi,

Seems you have not enabled netflow on all interfaces.

Enable netflow on all interfaces to see both IN and OUT traffic of all the interfaces.
