Hello,
I've started configuring OSPFv3 for DC network and started to see that there's no feature imp command, which would enable the authentification for OSPFv3. Do i'm missing here something ?
Because on Nexus 9Ks i see the feature imp command and i can enable auth for OSPFv3 successfully there. Digged through some manuals - no information that 5k or 6k series are missing that.
Maybe you know - do OSPv3 auth is supported on Nexus 5k or 6k series at all ? Thanks

hey,
i've seen that documentations, and actually they dont say or show as example that auth for n5k is available:
N5K-C5548UP system: version 7.3(8)N1(1)
SwitchA(config)# feature i? interface-vlan Enable/Disable interface vlan isis Enable/Disable IS-IS Unicast Routing Protocol (IS-IS) itd Enable/Disable ITD
While on n9k imp is available:
COREA(config)# feature i? icam Enable/Disable icam imp Enable/Disable IMP interface-vlan Enable/Disable interface vlan isis Enable/Disable IS-IS Unicast Routing Protocol (IS-IS) itd Enable/Disable ITD

Yes, thanks, but according Cisco NX-OS Licensing Guide its enough to have LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG license.
Anyhow, i've Enterprese services license also:
SwitchA# show license usage Feature Ins Lic Status Expiry Date Comments Count -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FCOE_NPV_PKG No - Unused - FM_SERVER_PKG No - Unused - ENTERPRISE_PKG No - Unused - FC_FEATURES_PKG No - Unused - VMFEX_FEATURE_PKG Yes - Unused never - ENHANCED_LAYER2_PKG No - Unused - NETWORK_SERVICES_PKG No - Unused - LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG Yes - In use never - LAN_ENTERPRISE_SERVICES_PKG Yes - In use never - ---------------------------------------------------------------- SwitchA# show license usage LAN_BASE_SERVICES_PKG Application ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- pim btcm ospf ospfv3
So, i still think nexus 5k and 6k doesnt have authentification for OSPFv3.
