Phone ip, pc cant ping default gateway

I have a Layer 3 switch connect to a layer 2 switch, to the layer 2 switch i have phone ip and pc connect to that phone ip, now i created vlan to the pc and voice vlan to the phone ip and put the link between the L2 and L3 as a trunk and put ip in the Layer 3 switch port (which i made a routed port ) and put that ip as default gateway to the pc 

My question is why i cant ping from the pc to the default gateway (by the way I can ping to the Vlan on the L2 switch)

HI Daniel,

I believe you are trying to Ping from the switch to the PC so please check below points.

1. Check you have connected the PC in correct vlan and you are able to ping the IP from the PC to Switch.
2. Check in your PC any antivirus/firewall might be blocking.
3. check PC ip and subnet mask is correct.
