I need to know whether CatOS is being supported by Prime Infrastructure 2.x ?
I have a customer where I see all catalyst switches running CatOS showing CLI credential unreachable and resulted into partial failure of inventory collection.
Performed following steps to troubleshoot/resolve the issue, but no go yet.
1. Increased the timeout.
2. "telnet <switch_ip > 23" from PI root mode. No firewall is restricting.
3. Device credential test report states CLI credentials are unreachable.

Wow CatOS. Unfortunately, PI supports 6500 switches only with IOS 12.2 or later.
The cli logins that occur and collect information will be running some IOS commands that do not apply in CatOS thus the somewhat unhelpful "unreachable" status is indicated. the device is very likely reachable but failure to return values as expected will result in this misleading error condition being indicated.
