PI 2.2 - Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.2, latest patch level.

Recently upgraded to Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.2

I cant seem to find a way to deploy a simple config to my routers (or view archived configurations)

conf t

Aux 0

no exec

transport input telnet

transport output none

copy run start

Am I missing something ?

Everything seems to be wireless orientated. I am licensed with BASE and 400 devices.

All my 304 wired devices imported correctly etc. I have all the latest patches installed.

Once last thing - I see people mentioning an 'operate' and 'design' menu

The menus visible to me are ..  (converged theme)

Dashboard / Monitor / Configuration / Inventory / Maps / Services / Reports / Administration

Have  I made a dreadful mistake and migrated to a wireless management platform when I only have wired devices ..

Here is the answer to my own question !

Configuration
Templates
features & technology
cli

new template

configurate terminal
line aux 0
transport input telnet
transport output none
no exec
exit
end
copy running-config startup-config

save template

Click Deploy (bottom right)

Select the subset of devices

deploy

monitor job  under ..

administration / jobs / user defined jobs.

Its 'sort of' contained in the user guide

Search for

"Cisco Prime Infrastructure Guide 2.2 User Guide"

Please note - the document is 3 days old !

Hi,

Below are steps for the same:-

Step 1. Create the CLI template, under below navigation:

Configuration > Templates > Features & Technologies > Templates > CLI Templates > CLI > Save As a New Template (name it)

Step 2. On the same page , next to Save As a New Template and Cancel button, there is Deploy button, click on Deploy to deploy the template
