PI recovery cli password error

[CCC3]

I lost the PI's cli account, mapped the iso to kvm, booted it, and proceeded with recovery by pressing 3 in boot options.

but
!!!!!!!! FAILED TO FIND ADE-OS STARTUP CONFIGURATION !!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!! UNABLE TO PROCEED WITH PASSWORD RECOVERY!!!!!!!!!!!

SYSTEM WILL RESTART
Press any key.....

Recovery did not proceed properly according to the log above.

Does anyone know a solution?

The version is version 2.2.
The model name is PI-UCS-API-K9

tough one. I assume you are using the recovery procedure below ? What if you try '4' (console) instead of '3' ?
