populating Cisco Prime 3.1 with all devices from "Network Devices"

I have Cisco Prime 3.1.7 and we have all our devices showing up in Inventory > Network Devices and in Monitor > Network Devices; however, not all are appearing in Monitor > Clients and users. Therefore I can't utilize the tools available on many of the devices. This has occurred no matter how many times I re-run the discovery tool. How can one resolve this issue?

Have you added the monitoring policies? See Monitor / Monitoring Tools / Monitoring Policies. Add the policies you want to monitor then apply those to the device groups you need.

ok now I'm a bit surprised.

I applied one of my policies to two test switches that do not appear under Clients and users.

Any particular reason that all my devices wouldn't appear?

I'm trying to leverage everything I can out of Prime.

I took the MENPI 3.0 course and it was informative, I've already been working with this since LMS 2.x.

Would you happen to have some suggestions on documentation for prime?

Thanks for the pointers.

Your best bet for this info is what is on the cisco.com Documentation pages. The User and Admin guides are very helpful.
