Prime Infrastructure Appliance

Hi All

Has anyone installed a Prime Infrastructure Appliance yet?

We've just received 2 of them and have booted them up and run the initial setup to assign IP address, DNS etc.

After the intitial setup you should reboot and then https into them.

Although they appear to boot OK and you can SSH into them we can't open a web browser to them.

I'm very familiar with WCS and was wondering if there is any command similar to WCSStart that needs to be run to kick the web services into life.

Any advice very appreciated.

Regards

Roger

When you ssh into the server, please verify that it is running normally with the command "ncs status".

If you're familiar with WCS ---WSCStart, WCSStop and WCSStatus

NCS has similiar commands of ncs start, ncs stop and ncs status

If for some reason the application isn't accessible via a web browser, more than likely all subcomponents aren't all running as shown with the ncs status command.

I had same issue. I opened TAC case and they had me download the dvd iso and reinstall. Kinda poor for receiving a new device.
