Prime Infratructure version 3.0 SNMPV3 c3750V2 issue

My PI appliance ver 3.0  fails SNMPV3 authpriv credential verification for C3750V2 FS switches,  SSH CLI  and ping are successful.  I have another c3750V2 FS switch  IOS 15.02.SE10a which the PI appliance can successfully connect and poll SNMPV3. For my C3750V2 FS switches  IOS 15.0.2.SE10a having stacked switches attached to a Master,  using the same SNMP configuration as the stand alone for PI and switch, as I SYNC  or do  Verifying Credentials,  I get the pop up message "Check whether the SNMPV3 credentials are valid" (I believe they are)

Here is the switch config being used:

snmp-server user <user name> campusgroup v3 auth sha <pass phrase> priv aes 128 <pass phrase> access 12 (ACL 12 permits the PI host)

snmp-server group campusgroup v3 auth read campusview access 12

snmp-server group campusgroup v3 auth context <management VLAN> read campusview access 12

snmp-server view campusview internet included

snmp-server view campusview interfaces included

snmp-server view campusview system included

snmp-server trap-source <management VLAN>

snmp-server enable traps license

As best I can determine the only difference is one switch is in a stacked mode the other stand alone

the stand alone being the switch that works. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated

My  3750V2 stacked switches are now communicating after numerous tries removing and reapplying

snmp-server configs  using a general  no snmp-server  negate command I  instead negated each line and then  reapplied.    Prime then SNMP  discovered and started polling the devices

no snmp-server user <user name> campusgroup v3 auth sha <pass phrase> priv aes 128 <pass phrase> access 12 (ACL 12 permits the PI host)

no snmp-server group campusgroup v3 auth read campusview access 12

no snmp-server group campusgroup v3 auth context <management VLAN> read campusview access 12

no snmp-server view campusview internet included

no snmp-server view campusview interfaces included

no snmp-server view campusview system included

no snmp-server trap-source <management VLAN>

no snmp-server enable traps license

!

snmp-server user <user name> campusgroup v3 auth sha <pass phrase> priv aes 128 <pass phrase> access 12 (ACL 12 permits the PI host)

snmp-server group campusgroup v3 auth read campusview access 12

snmp-server group campusgroup v3 auth context <management VLAN> read campusview access 12

snmp-server view campusview system included

snmp-server trap-source <management VLAN>

is the user in the "snmp-server user....." statement a local user account?

you could enable snmp debugging and monitor the output.
