Problem with cwjava.exe process on LMS3.2 and LMS4.0

I have got a problem with the cwjava.exe process on our LMS3.2 and LMS4.0 system. We allow for security reason only ssh access to our network equipment. On a few devices we had problem to login and did find out that all ssh sessions were occupied by both our LMS systems. The sessions were kept open and the LMS server and device did send keepalive packages forward and backward. The only way to cancel the ssh sessions was to stop and restart the crmdmgtd daemon. Does anyone have the same problem or any idea what the problem could be.

Many thanks in advance.

Fritz

Is this only happening for ACE devices?  Correlate the PID from the netstat output to the output of the pdshow command.  What LMS daemon is keeping these sockets open?

Hello Joseph,

Yes, it happens only on ACE devices. The PID netstat output correlates with the  ConfigMgmtServer process.

Enclosed, please find a file with some snapshot I took again(netstat, show ssh session-info and pdshow).

with best regards

Fritz

This looks to be the same as CSCsy22242 only for ACE modules.  If you click the Open Service Request link in the Actions panel of this thread, your TAC engineer can contact me for a patch to fix this.

Hello Joseph,

I'll get in contact with our TAC engineer and he should contact you anytime soon.

Thank you very much for you help and support.
