Provisioning Manager: Support of LDAPv3

Hi,

our customer has got two questions regarding CUPM, for version Cisco Prime Unified Provisioning Manager 8.7.

1. does CUPM support LDAP v3?

2. if not, is it on the roadmap for the next version?

UPM uses LDAP v2 to communicate with AD. Is there something specific that UPM uses that cannot be reached through v2?  What specific AD/LDAP server is the target for this question?
