Proxy Arp

I can see that Proxy Arp is enabled on one of my routers.  I am new to the network so I am not sure if there is a reason for it and no one else can tell me if it is enabled deliberately.  Is it possible to see how many 'hits' to the proxy arp has been made?  In other words - is there a 'hit count' for the proxy arp?  I cannot find anything on it so I am thinking not but ...

Hello Balaji,

Thank you for the Reply. Though I found this doc before I posted my
question I do not see where you can see any form of 'hit counter' to an ARP
request where the proxy ARP configuration answered. But, I think I found
it. If you type:

sh ip traffic

you will see the ARP statistics at the bottom of the output of the command
and in parentheses there is 'number / proxy' statement that I do believe
indicates how often the proxy answered the ARP request.

Thank you again -
