I'm having a bad week - my ISR 4331 router has been flooding my syslog server with these messages non-stop and I can't seem to find why:

The IOS version:

Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 16.09.04
Cisco IOS Software [Fuji], ISR Software (X86_64_LINUX_IOSD-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 16.9.4, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

I've found this Parity Errors Troubleshooting Guide but I'm not seeing my exact error, I'm a little way about messing around in an area I'm unsure of. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

 - Looks like a hardware error , single parity errors usually don't affect operation. If the device is currently mission critical no further action may be taken/needed. Otherwise you might contemplate cold-reboot (with power cycle) , check if problem remains in place or not.

Thanks, I'll try to reboot overnight and see.

You were right, after the reboot I've seen no further errors. Thank you very much.

Just to add to this (as we've just seen the problem and a reboot cleared it)- this seems to be addressed by https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvv98528 which is fixed in later IOS-XE releases.
