Hi,
We are sending our syslog messages to a central syslog server. However when there is a problem with the connection the syslog messages are lost. Is there a way to chache and resend these?

A more feasible alternative is to have syslogs sent to more than one syslog servers (via UDP or TCP) that are dispersed all over the network. That way, there's usually at least one server that manages to receive the logs. If none of the multiple syslog servers receive the messages, you have a bigger problem to solve with the unreliable network itself.

Agreed, but these are all small branch offices with a single wan connection and no servers onsite. So caching and resending would be of great help for us.
