Resetting or changing password on access point

I have a Cisco CBW140AC-B, but I do have a Cisco router or switch. I was successful in setting up the APs but I need to change the password and SSID because of a security risk, but I am unable to access the APs to do so. What can I do?

Hi

For what reason you can not access the access point? And how are you trying to access it? Depending on your answer, the solution would be factory reset it.

Well I set up the APs by plugging into the console port or it might have been via a browser, it has been a while. I tried using the mode button to reset but it has not defaulted to factory settings.I did not have a Cisco Router or Switch or controller.

This AP allows for console configuration. Try to find the cable and let me know if I can help you with the config
