RME Database Not responding

I have a pretty elderly Ciscoworks installation and after suffering from a corrupt database I am trying to build a new one on my Ciscoworks installation. I have, as advised,used the original files to create a new blank database into which I'm trying to import a CSV format inventory from another NMS but this is failing because the database is not responding. I want to check I have the correct login details in the System DSN setup in ODBC for this database. So, can anyone advise what the default dba passwrod is?

RME version 3.2 and CD1 3rd Edition.

Hi,

I am not sure what the default password is for the RME database if there is one.

It sounds like though you are at a stage where you could blow away your database again and create a new one with a new password.

/opt/CSCOpx/bin/perl /opt/CSCOpx/bin/dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=rme dmprefix=Essentials npwd=*your-new-password*
