I work for a national telco primarily as a data tester, but on occasion we have to update and maintain new routers before they are shipped out to the POC.
Best practices mean that we strive for some uniformity of the config with usually only the logical sub-interface names and IP's changing (eg: the atm sub-int name reflecting some portion the PVC CKT).
Right now we just drag and drop template configs from CM tickets into the routers before shipping, but I was wondering if anybody uses a web-based or DB based query/response form to generate individual configs?
