Hi,

There is any script (windows) designed to send any number of commands to a set of routers (eg show commands). And report the result in a file.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Download the cisco configmaker. It is windows compatible.

Thanks. but a want a tool or a script that can for example telnet a router, apply a command (eg : sh ip accounting), and transfer the result to a file.

Hi,

there is some limited functionality in CiscoWorks RME.

See Network Show Batch Reports in on-line help.

But sh ip accounting is not supported, I'm afraid.

Milan

Hi,

You can use the expect language to do this.

This language can be used to telnet to a router and send the output of the command to a text file on your server.

I've seen and helped create expect scipts on Linux, however i've just checked and you can get it for windows.

Hope the following link helps, plus there are a lot of sites on the www with examples.
