setup SNMP RW community on the credientials

Do I need setup snmp RW community string on the device credientials? When I did image import from device to LMS, the failed reason was shown as "The SNMP Write Community String might be wrong.

Check whether the correct SNMP Write Community String is entered in Device and Credential Repository". But some devices were not set up RW community on the LMS, it worked when I finished the same job.Could you analyze the reason for that?

Thanks for your device. From my experience, switch 3750 and 3550 are OK. But like 4500 series, 6500 series and routers, I have to setup RW string fro them.
