I wanted to know can someone tell me if I'm correct in my thinking or not. We are in the process of upgrading our UC suite from 10.5.1 to 12.5.1. I know going to 12 I have to have a smart licensing server which is pretty much PLM in the cloud. But today a person from CDW spoke to my manger about getting a quote for Flex licensing. I looked up flex licensing and that's for cloud, on-prem, hosted and hybrid. We don't plan on moving to the cloud right now and from the literature I read I can keep renewing my perpetual license on a yearly basis until 2024 then at that point I'll have to move to Flex I just want to make sure I'm correct.
