snmp-server community xxxx rw

where xxxx = your read/write community name

The firewall don't accept "rw", that is the problem.

Hi,

The ASA does not support SNMP write. You cannot configure rw on the ASA. Only read(ro) is supported.

Thanks

John

Thanks for the correction, John.  That actually makes sense from a security standpoint.

Hi,

Firewall do not allow read/write permissions. All you can do is to set password on different shells of firewall.
