Need the SNMP Trap Definition for Firepower.

See Traps with 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.826.6.1 (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.826.0.1)

Have a look on the attachment.

"If your network management system requires a management information base file (MIB), you can obtain it from the ASA FirePOWER module at /etc/sf/DCEALERT.MIB."

Quoted from http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firesight/541/firepower-module-user-guide/asa-firepower-module-user-guide-v541/Intrusion-External-Responses.pdf

Please let me know if this helps.

Sergei.

I search the Firepower sensors, and there is a folder for the MIBS.

/usr/share/snmp/mibs

It lists a long list of MIBS types.  I will be trying some of them in our monitoring tool, and see if it works.

Hello

I am trying to get some basic information about Firepower Managemet Center.

The problem I am having is that it is installed on a ESXi (it is virtual),

How can I get those basic values (like CPU, Temperature...).

These are the mibs which it has:

root@FireSIGHT-Management:/usr/share/snmp/mibs# ls -l

When I try to get those values, I get an error.

Has somebody be able to monitor a virtual Firesight?

It is running v6.2.3.4

Hello

To monitor CPU usage, I guess I have to use:

root@FireSIGHT-Management:/usr/share/snmp/mibs# snmpwalk -v 2c -c XXXXXX 10.3.51.40 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorLoad.196608 = INTEGER: 6

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorLoad.196610 = INTEGER: 3
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorLoad.196611 = INTEGER: 5

What is "Load avg"? what paramether is monitoring??

Hi,

At first you have to upload the global mibs

• CISCO-FIREPOWER-MIB.my
• CISCO-FIREPOWER-TC-MIB.my
• CISCO-FIREPOWER-FAULT-MIB.my
• CISCO-FIREPOWER-NOTIFS-MIB.my

Then you can use the other mibs in the package

Best Regards Thomas

see reference in answers below sorry

How to get those MIB ?

It's seems impossible to obtain

Why aren't those MIBs in the Cisco MIB Locator? That URL shows how to download the whole FTD image, are we supposed to some how extract MIBs from an FTD image?

But our sensors are the models 8140 and 8350. (not 4100/9300).

I can not find the MIB for these models.
