This seems so simple. We are changing from telnet to SSH (via PuTTY) for remote access to our equipment. With telnet, when our passwords needed changing, we would enter a blank password and then be prompted for our old password, and new password. With SSH, none of this is happening. We are using ACS to manage our ID's. Any ideas?
Thanks.

With SSH prompting for a password change is not possible. If you want to go for changing of passwords at will UCP can be an option here , but explained him that this is not password aging . You are allowing the users to change their password at will .
If you are Ok with using Telnet there are many options available for password aging. For more information have a look at the following URL.

we are also thinking of going to sshv2 from telnet for our network devices... you say UCP is an option, what is UCP?
can you point me to a document that has more details on switching from telnet to ssh and what issues may be involved?
