Static Bidirectional NAT

Hello,

I am having trouble understanding the concept of Static NAT in my environment.

There is a Static Bidirectional NAT as follows :

Source - 192.168.1.1-10     Destination 10.10.10.1     Translated Source - Same   Translated Destination 10.80.25.12

If the above rule is bidirectional does it mean that when traffic will be initiated from 10.80.25.12 towards 192.168.1.1-10 it will work as follows using the above NAT rule ?

Source - 10.80.25.12  Destination 192.168.1.1-10   Translated Source - 10.10.10.1 Translated Destination 192.168.1.1-10

Can you post the exiting rule from environment to understand.

basic bi-direction rule look like below :

object network PUBLIC_IP
host 1.1.1.1 <<- Public IP
object network DC_SERVER_IP
host 172.16.1.1
nat (outside, inside) source static any any destination static PUBLIC_IP DC_SERVER_IP
