Recently there is some network issues (topology) happen due to some activity. However we couldn't do proper troubleshoot as we didn't find much logs in switch specially STP, Topology Chage, Root bridge, IGMP, Multicast etc.
As per our case, we can ether keep this in
- Switch buffer by enabling logging in switch
- In our NMS systems which can store SNMP information.
It would be nice if anyone can let me know,
- What is the level of syslog we have to allow in switch to get this log.
- How I can send this log via SNMP to our NMS systems.
