Suggested IOS for Cisco 1941 Router

Hi everyone,

I want to upgrade my IOS for Cisco 1941 Series router. On the official site, there are 2 suggested version of IOS,

15.7.3M4 MD and 15.6.3M6 MD. Which version shall I prefer, and please provide suggestions with pros and cons.

Hi,

First, you have to decide what features do you need? Then check Cisco Feature Navigator for matching IOS. But I will go to15.7.3M4 MD. Cisco has fixed many bugs and increased feature stability in this version.

Hi there,

As @Deepak Kumar mentions, compare the provide features between the releases. 

Regarding preference, always choose the version with the greatest number of revisions as this will include the highest number of resolved caveats and therefore less bugs. In this case it would be 16.6.3M6 .
