SWIM failed to reboot

Hello,

We are using LMS 4.2 and whenever we select option to reboot the device it fails, if we dont use that check box it works fine.

We can go to device and use reload and it works fine with the same user account.

Any suggestions?

LMS does not uses the command reload or reboot to restart the device in SWIM after software update.

It uses SNMP Set commands to restart the device.

You should configure following command on the device for LMS to be able to reload them :

snmp-server system-shutdown

Hi,

Devices need to have this command configured for reboot:

snmp-server system-shutdown

if it is configured but still not rebooting then it is a different problem ,can to dignosed only after looking at the log files.

Share the swim_debug.log  (NMSROOT/CSCOpx/log ) and

Job log (NMSROOT/CSCOpx/files/rme/jobs/SWIM)

Thanks-

Afroz
