Switches for layer3 redundancy

Hi.

Im looking to setup a network where layer 3 redundancy is a priority and where SSL VPN would be nice for remote access. Im thinking some sort of firewall (for example some type of Cisco ASA) and two layer 3 switches for switching between VLANs. If one of the switches goes down it should be able to handle failover. This is regarding a industrial company with 300 employees where production is on one VLAN, administration on another and database and such services on a third VLAN.

Im looking for ideas as to wich series of switchers and firewall products that could be interesting.

Hi Tommy,

This discussion forum probably isn't the place to find an answer for this question. Consider going to the switching discussion forum instead. This can be found here:
