Temperature Threshold

Hi. I want to modify the temperature threshold on Router 7609 and Catalyst 6500. I need to make some test with temperature alarm and I need to modify these parameters. I really don't want to put these equipment under critical conditions. I just want to modify the temperature threshold. And then, I need to configure the syslog messages to be sended at the syslog, and configure the shutdown parameters to stop the equipment.

There's no way to do this other than by having the temperature of the device change. The thresholds look at actual temperatures and there's no way to modify these temps (fake them) for testing.
