Two etherchannel on one switch

Hi 

Can i have two etherchannels on one switch with the same number (so both groupchannel are number 1) or i need every channel to be uniqe and if so how is it possible if the number range of the groupchannel is 1 - 5

Hi there,

The ether-channel IDs are locally unique, ie, you can't have two Po1's on a switch but a Po1 on one switch could be connected to a Po99 on another.

If you only have a Po ID range of 1-5 that will be a limitation of the switch you are using. There is nothing you can do to exceed that number.
