Hi,

Can any one please help me out to solve an error getting on Prime 3.1 "Virtual Domain Already Existed" (Attached screenshot for more reference)

I had tried creating an other account for testing purpose even though we are getting the same error.

You are not at the top-level (ROOT-DOMAIN)

and want to create a virtual domain in a domain name "untitled"?

that won't work

go some level up (left arrow in left pane under root-domain)

next create your subdomain under ROOT-DOMAIN not under untitled!

Hi Peter,

Many thanks for your swift response, I have tried the same exercise. Click on the Root domain and Click the create sub domain. Its redirecting to untitled.

This is the only option where i can see.

Is there anything to check.

Regards,

Jaseem

did you select any element (device, map, group....) to be part of the new virtual domain?

Hi Peter,

Yes, I have tried with adding the devices in the network and tried without adding as well. But no luck

regards,

Jaseem

maybe you allready created the virtual domain, but in my environment Prime did not clear the fields after submit and did not update this in the navigation pane.

You you think prime did nothing......

do a refresh ( next to the "?" in the top right )

switch to the tree view (left next to "+" in navigation pane) and expand all branches

refreshed multiple times even though still the same error
