Hi, I would like to upgrade PI 1.3 to PI 3.0, but in the quick start guide there is only a description for upgrade from PI 2.2 to PI 3.0. Does this mean I have to first upgrade PI to 2.2 and then to 3.0? There is no documentation which describes the steps how to upgrade from an earlier version than 2.2.
("The following steps explain how to upgrade from Prime Infrastructure 2.2.x to Prime Infrastructure 3.0." -> http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/prime/infrastructure/3-0/quickstart/guide/cpi_qsg.html#pgfId-120990 )
Thanks very much,
KR Rena

>In my opinion I have to upgrade at first from PI 1.3 to PI 2.1.0.0.87 and do a backup, then I have to set up a new Server with PI 2.2 and restore the backup. And after that I can upgrade to 3.0?
- Yes, you can not go directly from 1.3 to 3.0

Because in 2.2 I found this (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/prime/infrastructure/2-2/quickstart/guide/cpi_qsg.html ):
And in quickstart guide from 2.1(http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/net_mgmt/prime/infrastructure/2-1/quickstart/guide/cpi_qsg.html#pgfId-66122) I found this:
