What is PI-CM license in Prime LMS 4.2 ?

Hi all,

I installed Cisco Prime LMS version 4.2.4 and I purshased a new license and istalled it. All seems to be ok. The only thing is that when I click  to see the the license management on the interface, I see a fiel named PI-CM and with an evaluation status (see attached file).

Could you please help me to know the signification and the utility of this license and is it obligatory ?

Hi ,

"pi-cm evaluation" is related to a new feature in 4.2 which is the 
Compliance and Audit Manager (CAAM).  Thisis a separate feature that has to be 
purchased and has another license.

The CM license is not required. Without it, you will lose the ability to run compliance reports (se the list of types defined in the link Afroz posted above) after the 90 day evaluation period expires. You will retain the ability to run service and lifecycle management reports.
