why admin password would change?

LMS 3.2 on Solaris 10

It has happened to me twice, once in LMS2.6 and now in LMS3.2 that I can no longer login using "admin" I get authentication failed message. No one changed the password, no one has admin passowrd but me-Is there anyway to find out what happened other than changing the password again? Please help.

You can check the audit trail under Common Services > Server > Reports > Audit Log. If the password was changed in the GUI, it should be reflected there.
