Wireless AP managment

On CWLMS Prime, currently you can not manage AP's as stated below:

How is a device defined within CiscoWorks device counts?

A. A device is defined as a unique IP Address and System Object ID (SysOid). A single chassis will be counted as multiple devices if the chassis is configured with multiple IP Addresses. Ex. A switch with multiple line cards, NAM, firewall etc. or a stackable switch that has an IPAddr assigned to each switch that participates in the stack will be treated as multiple devices within CiscoWorks. Note:IP Phones and controller based access points do not count as managed devices within LMS.

Will there be a new release that will eventually allow management of these AP's

Controller-based access points are managed under their respective controllers. Those controllers can be managed by LMS. Autonomous APs can be managed directly by LMS.

Note Cisco Prime 4.2 appears to be integrating the LMS (typically more LAN-based) and NCS (more wireless-based) functions under a single product suite. (The data sheet had been posted earlier this week but now appears to have been pulled temporarily from cisco.com.)
