WS-C850-24P-S doesn’t support PTP

Does any body have any idea why the WS-C850-24P-S doesn’t support PTP and the WS-C3850-24XS unit does (hardware or O/S) please let me know. Trying to work out if i need to upgrade the hardware or just the O/S

Thanks, have seen the generic literature. Was after a less generic answer on particularly why that model doesn't support PTP, is it a hardware or O/S limitation ? any ideas

As per the Mode Cat 3850 concern, it supports the limitation as provided in the document.

WS-C850-24P-S  - Not sure about the model never heard of it.
