2821 + AIM module ... OK for 42 branch to Head Office?

Hello.

Our client currently has a 2821 router at HO, with 13 sites connected via VPN.

They are upgrading their ADSL line at HO to 100Mbps (up from 50Mbps), and adding an extra 29 sites to connect to HO!

Will their existing 2821 cope with the additional load, if an AIM card is added to it? Traffic should be "moderate" - accessing a central database, etc.

Reading through the data sheets, 2821 + AIM can accomodate the amount of VPN connections, but what about the "real world" scenario?

Thanks!!

I've had pretty good performance with the AIM cards. The 2821 w/ AIM supports 140MB (per datasheet), but I would feel fine pushing 70-90MB through it. Here's a link on checking the AIM performance.

Hope that helps.
