So I am setting up a home network. I have a 5505 with a base license.
I have inside, outside and dmz. For some retarded reason Cisco needs me to block incoming traffic to one of these interfaces.
the only thing in the dmz is a reverse proxy. So can I do the no forward from dmz to outside and still keep the rp working?
Also the marketing guy who wanted to squeeze a home user for a dmz should be punched in the throat.

Hi Ed,
Not with base license. Base license features:
Maximum VLANs/Zones : 3 (2 regular zones and 1 restricted zone that can only communicate with 1 other zone)
Maximum VLAN Trunks : No support
Thx

I'm not following. The reverse proxy should be able to talk inside. And the inside server will reply.
Am I missing something?
